Mitchell's Wool Fat
1893 is on the front of the Mitchells Wool fat porcelain dish as the date when the soap was established, referring to the original Yorkshire formula of wool fat soap. Fred Mitchell the Bradford chemist then started producing it commercially in the early 1930s using the natural lanolin from sheep's wool which has kept Yorkshire sheep shearers hands so soft for centuries. Slick, moisturizing and soothing for sensitive skins this gently perfumed product is a favourite amongst wet shavers
